I have so many wonderful memories from hanging out at Greengate Mall as a teenager in the 70's. It was such a beautiful, safe and fun place to gather.
I spent many many hours of my life inside that mall! made lots of great friends& have a lot of stories about It! Love that Mall
I used to decorate the mall for Christmas and Easter. It was such a blast to work with such an artistic group of people! My very first job was the "Opening Easter Bunny"! And I got to ride the train ON the Engine! That was such a thrill seeing as I rode the train as a child
When I think Greengate Mall, I think birds. The giant birdcage, the minah bird at the pet shop, the occasional bird flying loose inside the mall.

I really miss this mall. I use to eat there and sit and watch the birds in the bird cage. Plus the christmas display was always beautiful. It brings back alot of memories of my Mom and Dad ( thier gone now ) taking me shopping with them.
