I was a security guard (Greengate Police) for a number of years at Greengate Mall. It was around the 1980's. I still have my badge, uniform patches, and ID card. I got to guard the miniature White House, I'll have to look for the pictures. I had a great time working at Greengate Mall and met a lot of wonderful people. |

About Me
I owned a store in the Greengate mall from November of 1995 until February of 1997. That store was named Gift Trek "Unique Star Trek Gifts and Collectibles" While we were there, we met many people from the community and made some enduring friends. Gift Trek was located on the main level near the food court. Since leaving the mall, Gift Trek has continued on the internet. We are at www.gifttrek.net. From our beginnings at the mall we have grown to have customers in all 50 of the United Staes and in 12 international territories and countries. Gift Trek is still a very small business and I still run it my self. While I have lost much more of my vision, I have not lost my love for Star Trek nor my drive to improve my business. |

I used to work at the JC Penney store when I was a teenager from 1976-1981 so on my lunch hours I wandered the mall. It was always such a cheerful mall and unlike Wastmoreland Mall - it was bright and sunny. The decorations at Chirstmas were always so well done. It was a shame what happened to it and how the mall got run down those last few years |

I learn about Greengate mall as I searched for more info on the train that I'm working on. I come to find that it was used in GreenGate Mall as a Chrismas Ride. I'm looking for photo's and history. The mall looked as a great place to go!!
